Bald cypress is a popular tree in Louisiana, and rightfully so - it is our state tree. Bald cypress provide fine textured foliage on a columnar growth habit. Trees are fast growing. They can be planted along water edges and do equally well in dry sites. Trees have nice fall foliage color.
