It's sad but true. In times of tragedy, it sometimes brings out the worst in people.

That's why, if you're considering donating to help the people in Myanmar, it's worth your time to first check out who you're giving money to and how it's spent.

The Better Business Bureau has a website that takes the guess-work out of donating to charities.
