Wallace Lake Road and East Bert Kouns in Shreveport is closed at this hour following an 18 wheeler accident. Police spokesman Sgt. Bill Goodin says the truck hit a utility pole, bringing down some power lines.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible. No major injuries have been reported.
