Former President Bill Clinton returns to his ArkLaTex roots. He's coming to El Dorado, Arkansas later today.

Clinton will be at El Dorado High School at 12:30 p.m., to attend the El Dorado Promise Scholarship Program and Academic Signing Day.

Nearly 90 percent of last year's Promise-eligible class is going on to college, which is much higher than state (63%) and national (67%) rates.

In five years, the El Dorado Promise Scholarship Program has sent more than 900 students to over 50 colleges and universities across the United States. Many of these are first-generation college students.
