Clay County authorities believe a body found near the railroad tracks about 5 miles north of Knobel Saturday night could be that of missing 79-year-old Andrew Haukereid.

McClung said they haven't identified the body yet, but are using a process of elimination to determine who it is. McClung said the only missing person in this area at this time is Texas father, Andrew Haukereid, who went missing during an Amtrak train ride from San Antonio to Chicago in May.

McClung said they've contacted Haukereid's son, who is making arrangements to send his father's dental records to Arkansas.

McClung confirms it is a man's body and it will be sent to the state medical examiner's office on Monday.
