Bond has been set at $1,264,375 for a Shreveport man who was arrested and charged with 50 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

Danny Owen Gorbet, Jr., 47, was arrested Wednesday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime and Fugitive Apprehension Units, Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Bossier City Marshall’s Office, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was booked into the Caddo Parish Jail without incident.

Gorbet is accused of violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.
