Bossier Parish tax notices go out this week

Bossier Parish tax notices will be mailed out beginning Friday.

For those whose property taxes are not paid through their mortgage company, payments can be mailed or you can pay in person at one of three locations.

Walk-ins from Bossier City, Haughton, or south Bossier Parish are encouraged to go to the Bossier sheriff's substation at 2510 Viking Drive in Bossier City. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays.

In Benton, you can go to the first floor of the Bossier Parish Courthouse. The courthouse tax office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Walk-ins from Benton and Plain Dealing can also go to the Bossier sheriff’s substation on Highway 3 just north of Benton. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Mastercard and Visa will be accepted at all three locations with a processing fee added. Checks and cash will also be accepted.
