Bucket list wish soon to be a reality

Mary Ann Van Osdell always watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when she was a youngster.  But as an adult, Thanksgiving dinner took priority.  But this year, an item on her bucket list is topping everything.  She has always wanted to go to New York to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  But, this year she is getting the chance to be in it.  Van Osdell's former sorority sister works for the department store chain.  When she got the chance to march in the parade, she called her friend, who said yes in a New York second.  Van Osdell will be a balloon handler.  She'll join a team of people who hold onto the balloons as they make their way to Herald Square.  Van Osdell doesn't know which balloon she'll escort, but she doesn't care.
