Business site of repeated burglaries

Shreveport police are trying to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for a series of burglaries at the Candi Shoppe in the 7700 block of Linwood Avenue.

The first burglary occurred about 3 a.m. on May 13. The thief broke in and stole merchandise. Part of the burglary was recorded by the business's video surveillance. It appears a man was the burglar, police said.

Another burglary occurred June 23. This time, clothing was stolen. Video surveillance shows a black male entering the business with what appears to be a white T-shirt wrapped around his face, police said.

Investigators said there have been other burglaries and attempted burglaries at the Candi Shoppe as recently as last week.
