A proposal to bring a new charter school to Caddo Parish is approved.
Members of the Caddo Parish School Board met Tuesday evening to vote on the matter.
KTBS 3 News has learned that only two board members did not vote in favor of the plan.
The application to open the Magnolia Charter School was submitted by Charter Schools USA.
The company is based out of Florida.
Officals say the school, which will be housed in a brand new facility, is expected to be up and running by the fall of 2013.
