A Campti double-murder suspect has been captured in Tacoma, WA.

According to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones, Jr., an undercover surveillance team with the U. S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force in Tacoma, WA captured Renaldo Nargo, at his brother's residence.

Sheriff Jones said this concludes an intensive four-month long manhunt for the murder suspect.

Nargo escaped when, while incarcerated and still in handcuffs, a deputy turned away for a moment.

Jones praised the efforts of the numerous law enforcement agencies around the country that participated in the manhunt, but particularly, the U. S. Marshal's Service. Jones said the Natchitoches Sheriff's Office has long had a great inter-agency co-operation with all the federal law enforcement agencies and it is because of that relationship that this manhunt could be expanded to a national level. Jones said tentative plans are for the Louisiana Department of Corrections, Probation & Parole Division to return Nargo back to the state, as Nargo is a parolee
