Michael Dale DuncanBossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Bossier City man has been arrested on three counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Michael Dale Duncan, 33, of the 1800 block of Lake, was taken into custody Monday following an investigation into the disappearance of three vehicles from the lot of a Bossier City automobile dealership. Bossier Sheriffs investigators, in conjunction with the dealership, had Duncan under surveillance before the arrest was made.

The first disappearance occurred in mid-July when a Saturn Ion was taken from the lot and returned on July 17th. The second disappearance happened in late July when a 2008 Suzuki S.U.V. was taken from the lot and abandoned in the Greenacres Place subdivision on July 29th. The third disappearance took place on September 18th when a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer was taken from the lot and abandoned in Shreveport on September 19th.

Duncan, who worked at the dealership, was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with bond pending.
