KTBS 3 News was first on scene Friday morning when local, state and federal authorities raided Mike's Auto Sales on Hearne Avenue.
Agents arrested owners William Paul Boyter, his son, Michael Paul Boyter and son-in-law, Anthony Riley.
All three men face federal charges of money laundering and wire fraud.
The arrests are the result of an investigation dubbed "Operation: NOMAS."
According to the federal indictment which was unsealed today, the men sold and financed vehicles to well-known drug dealers. They crimes are said to have been committed from 1996 to 2010.
Investigators say Riley and the Boyters were accepting cash proceeds, allowing the drug dealers to buy vehicles under different names and falsifying records of payment.
During the raid, agents seized about a dozen weapons from inside the offices.
The three suspects made their initial appearance in federal court Friday afternoon and were released on $250,000 bond. None of them has any type of criminal history.
Their arraignment is scheduled for August 14th.
