More robbery charges will be filed against two men who were arrested Wednesday after a gas station/convenience store robbery in Shreveport.

Kevin McDonald and Gary Easter of Shrevpeort were arrested after a robbery at the Chevron at Interstate 49 and Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

Shreveport police Detective Michael McConnell said the two men, who are roommates and admitted they stole money to pay their bills, will also be charged with robbing Thrifty Liquor stores on Youree Drive and Greenwood Road on Jan. 27.

Both are also suspected of this month's robbery of RJ's restaurant on Mansfield Road.

Bossier City police said today they plan to charge the men with robbing Thrifty Liquor on Benton Road and a cash-checking company.

Waskom, Texas, police said they plan to charge the men with robbing a loan office there.

They two were caught Wednesday just minutes after robbing the Chevron. Easter gave up at the scene. It took the police canine to get McDonald. He was taken to LSU Hospital then transfered to jail where these roommates are now cellmates.

The two also face charges in Bossier City.

Police recovered some of the money taken during today's robbery. They also recovered the weapon. It was a B.B. gun.
