BENTONVILLE, Ark. -

Bentonville's police chief says many of the questions surrounding the death of a six-year-old girl will be answered when the man suspected of killing her appears in court.

Jersey Bridgeman was found dead last week in an abandoned house two doors down from where she was staying. Authorities are holding a neighbor, 28-year-old Zachary Holly. He has a bail and probable cause hearing Wednesday afternoon.

Police haven't released details of how Jersey died. The chief says work by the State Crime Lab helped speed the arrest.

The girl's father and stepmother were charged with abuse last year after investigators discovered they chained her to a dresser to stop her wandering around the house at night. Both are now in prison.

Jersey Bridgeman's funeral is being held Tuesday afternoon.
