A young Shreveport woman has been arrested after her 4-year-old nephew was found trying to cross a busy Shreveport intersection alone.

The little boy had tried to cross Hearne Avenue at Lakeshore Drive. Officers took him home and found two other children there with no adult supervision, police said.

Kimber Moore, 18, was booked on child desertion charges when she returned to the house. Police said the young woman told them she had gone to the store.
