Texarkana, Ark. has gotten a $20,000 state grant to help upgrade its weather-warning sirens.

After last month's hail storm, city officials discovered that only one of a half-dozen sirens was working.

Repairs are expected to cost about $3,000 per tower. Replacement systems would range from $25,000 to $40,000.
