Clearing up misconceptions about autism

Wednesday, April 2, 2008 is World Autism Day. More than 35 million people worldwide have some form of the disorder. An estimated one out of every 150 children is diagnosed with autism. Many people fear past studies that linked autism with vaccines, however 15 other studies in recent years have proven there is no connection. People are also surprised to learn about the wide spectrum of autism. Sonja Bailes talked to a couple experts to bust some myths of the syndrome that is still a mystery to doctors.
