A Conway police officer who was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic around an accident has died.
   Conway police issued a statement saying Officer William McGary died about 5 p.m. Friday at a Little Rock hospital.
   Police say McGary was in his patrol car with his emergency lights on to block a street because of the other accident when another vehicle crashed into the patrol car. The driver of the vehicle was arrested on various traffic charges.
