Crime Stoppers and Minden Police Search For Woman

SHREVEPORT, La -

Crime Stoppers and the Minden Police Department need your help in identifying a white female, who may have information regarding a series of vehicle burglaries in the Shreveport and Minden area.

On March 8 and 9th, multiple vehicle burglaries were reported in both Monroe and Shreveport where the victim's purses were stolen along with checkbooks and drivers licenses belonging to the victims.

On March 11, the white female suspect drove to a Minden Bank and deposited a $300 stolen check. The same woman returned to the bank on March 12 and cashed two stolen checks in the amount of $3,491.48, only this time the brown headed woman was wearing a blond wig.

The suspect is described as being between the age of 34 and 35-years-old and was last seen driving a Black Chevrolet Trailblazer which was used during both transactions. Police said a white van, which may have been used in other cases in the Monroe area, has been seen parked in the nearby lot near the bank when the transactions have taken place.
