Denham Springs woman shot in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. -

Baton Rouge police are investigating a weekend shooting in which a 21-year-old woman was killed.

Police Cpl. L'Jean McKneely says in a news release that Clara Seal of Denham Springs was shot around 6 p.m. Saturday as she sat in a vehicle in a parking lot.

McKneely says Seal was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
