Dollar Store Robber Charged In Three More Robberies

A local man arrested last week for robbing a dollar store in west Shreveport has been charged with three more counts of robbery.

Police detectives listed 25 year old Chadrick Louis as a suspect in the armed robbery of the Dollar General in the 4600 block of Mansfield Road back on December 18, 2012 and issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with that crime. Investigators took Louis, of the 3200 block of Fredrick Street in Shreveport, into custody without incident the very next day and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of armed robbery.

A hand gun is believed to have been used in the robbery, along with other articles were located inside Louis' home that authorities believe are connected to several other similar crimes.

Based on information and evidence gathered during the course of several ongoing investigations, authorities have now charged with Louis with one count of armed robbery each for his alleged role in armed robberies at the Circle K in the 7700 block of Pines Road back on November 27, 2012, at the Auto Zone in the 3400 block of Greenwood Road back on December 6, 2012, and at the Circle K in the 2700 block of Lakeshore Drive back on November 11, 2012.

Investigators are still working at this hour to determine if Chadrick Louis is responsible for other similar crimes.
