Caddo Sheriff's Deputies say a man was following his wife home after leaving a bar, when he became angry.

Deputies say he tried to ram her car and run her off the road, so she pulled over on Kent Street and ran into a friend's house.

Her husband followed her, breaking a window and trying to kick down the door.

Authorities say the homeowner shot the husband through the door, striking him in the stomach.

He was transported to LSU Hospital where, at last word, he was undergoing surgery and in serious condition.
