Before you get ready to pull out your eggs and dunk them in dye, you need to know a few safety tips. Home Economist Connie Acklen from the Louisiana Ag Center told us what to keep in mind:

Buy clean, uncracked eggs from a refrigerated display

Hard-cook eggs properly

Refrigerate eggs

Don't color cracked eggs

Discard if out of fridge for two hours
