One man is injured following an early morning house fire.
The fire sparked in the kitchen of the home around 5:40 a.m. in the 6100 block of Canal Boulevard in Shreveport.
Fire officials say the blaze started on the stove. A 30 year old man was home at the time of the fire. He was taken to LSU-Health Shreveport for smoke inhalation.
His condition is described as non life-threatening.
