Shreveport Fire Crews reported to a fire at the 4000 block of Evers Drive, just after 2-am this morning.

When crews arrived on scene, they found large flames coming from the carport and the front room of the home.

There were 5 people in the house at the time of the blaze. An adult male was transported with burns to his left arm. There’s no word on his condition. The other four in the home made it out without injury.

Fire crews had the blaze under control within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the house suffered heavy smoke damage."
