An unusual accident sends an area man to the hospital this morning.
According to Shreveport Police, a motorcycle was heading westbound on Jefferson Paige Road just after 6 this morning when a horse ran out in front of him, and he hit the horse.
The driver has been taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
