An early morning stabbing has sent one man to the hospital.

Half a dozen Shreveport Police officers were called to the University Oaks Apartment complex in Shreveport just before five-thirty this morning.

Police believe a domestic dispute between a man and woman took place.  At some point the male victim was stabbed in the abdomen.

The victim was transported to LSU hospital.  The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.

Shreveport police are still on scene investigating the incident.
