Early voting polls are closed Sunday, but it's a break the Caddo voter registrar may be thankful for. Early voting numbers have seen an increase this election year. The registrar says more than 3,000 have voted in three days. Voters should expect a 45 minute wait to cast their opinion. That's a shorter amount of time than previous election years.
"We've got more check-ins for people to come inside, once they get in here," registrar's Ernie Roberson said. "When, we've done some things internally that help the situation a little bite better on our side."
Early voting will continue Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 6 pm. If you go to vote, we're told you should expect a crowd.
