KTBS has received confirmation from the Albany County Under-Sheriff Rob Debree, in Wy., the plane with four men from East Texas, was found tonight at 5:02 pm mountain time. It was found North of Laramie, Wy. on Laramie Peak. This was also confirmed on the phone by family member, Barry Morgan. Mr. Morgan, is packing to go to Wyoming. Understandably, Mr. Morgan is quite upset and was not able to provide details.
Tomorrow morning a special team of helicopters will be lowered to the site.
Confirmation of the pilot and 3 passengers is unknown at this time. Under-Sheriff Rob Debree, reported no signs of life at the scene of the plane crash. The plane which is identified as a 2005 Piper-PA-32, has been missing since Tuesday evening.
There is no word yet on the welfare of the pilot and the three passengers. East Texas men Billy Gee, Mavrick Cayce, Chuck Ford and James Morgan were in a plane that disappeared Tuesday in Albany County Wyoming. At home, their friends and family have come to together.
Update:
Rescuers found that there were no survivors of the plane crash. Albany County officials said those killed were Charles "Chuck" Ford, 52, James Morgan, 29, both of Marshal, Tx., Maverick Cayce, 21, of Longview, Tx., and Billy Gee, 65, of Karnack, Tx.
