A group of union workers from the recently shutdown Beaird Company in Shreveport are planning a visit to Baton Rouge. They want to talk to city and state leaders about possible ways to save the company. The city of Shreveport owns the property and the building. Officials we talked with say they just want a stable company to open here. 270 people were affected by the shutdown.
