Operations at Camp Minden resumed Wednesday and more progress was made in the initiative to segregate and properly store the M6 propellant.  Just under 372,000  pounds of product was moved Wednesday, which brings the nine day total to over 3 million pounds of product moved.  Operations have been running smooth and will resume Thursday at sun rise.

Just under 270,000 pounds of product was moved Tuesday and on Monday about 600,000 pounds was segregated to magazines and properly stored.

Restrictions for parts of Camp Minden will remain in effect until the operation is concluded. 

The Louisiana State Police, Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, Webster Parish Office of Homeland Security, and Doyline Police Department would like to thank area residents for their patience and understanding as they work to ensure the public’s safety.
