Fatal crash in Natchitoches Parish

The victim's identity has been released in Friday night's fatal accident in Natchitoches Parish. She's Pam Bedgood, 49, of Natchitoches.

The crash happened about ten miles north of Clarence, Louisiana off Highway 1226.

State police say an SUV, driven by Bedgood, crossed the center line and crashed head-on into another vehicle.

Authorities say Bedgood was not wearing a seatbelt. The other driver suffered only minor injuries.
