 Five of six individuals accused of a embezzling more than $300,000 from Homer Housing Authority have been arrested on federal charges.
During a sting operation early Wednesday morning former Homer Housing Authority director Michelle Green, 34, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was taken into custody by law enforcement. Green is accused of cashing checks and doling out some of the money to her accomplices, as well as using funds for her personal use. She is also accused of writing checks to individuals, including her accomplices for work that was never performed.
Green’s accomplices – Katrina G. Robertson, 38, and Flack Robertson, 34, both of Haynesville; Aaron Perry, 29, of Shreveport; and Curtis L. Mays of Harker Heights, Texas were all arrested during the undercover operation. Katrina Henderson, 33, of Shreveport has also been charged for her involvement in the money scheme.
The operation comes on the heels of a take down last month, which federal agents nabbed a uniformed Haynesville K-9 officer ¬¬– Rickey Goode, after making a prescription drug buy while on duty and in his patrol car. Goode is accused of illegally purchasing prescription drugs over an extended period of time. Days after the incident Goode resigned.
