He didn't have his endorsement initially, but congressional candidate John Fleming joined forces with the man he's trying to replace: outgoing, longtime Congressman Jim McCrery. The two went door to door in Broadmoor this evening, looking for votes. You might recall, McCrery initially threw his support behind Jeff Thompson, not Fleming.

Meantime, Fleming's main opponent in Saturday's final ballot is touting a couple of endorsements of his own. Sheriffs Gary Sexton of Webster and Rodney Arbuckle of DeSoto Parish say they're backing Democrat Paul Carmouche.
