Area residents are preparing for another round of wet weather. For the past couple of days, Bossier Parish officials have been keeping their eyes on the skies, and their hands have been busy keeping the area's waterways clear. To help with any potential flash flooding the parish is preparing a large number of sandbags to give out to residents. "The main threat here is flash flooding. Now the old event back 2009 was not a flash flood it was an on going event that came from the north and then we had a heavy rain here which we were already full", said Bossier Parish Public Safety Director Sammy Halphin.
