Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a Flora man in connection with a Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile case according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

The investigation began on February 9th, 2013, when the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report from the 14 year old victim’s mother, that she had allegedly been involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a adult male.

Detectives also learned that the adult male suspect received nude photographs of the victim via cell phone.

During the investigation, detectives interviewed the suspect and learned that he allegedly had sexual contact with the victim on multiple occasions.

On Tuesday February 12th, Craig Stephen Lachney Jr., 30 of the 200 block of Station Yard Road, Flora, La., was arrested and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center. Lachney is charged with 3-counts of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile, and 1-count of Possession of Juvenile Pornography.

A local medical clinic confirmed that the victim is pregnant.

Detectives are not releasing the victim’s name.

Lachney, remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting a hearing.
