The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum held it's author's program today as a part of the "Remember in Shreveport-Bossier When" event.

Former Bossier City Mayor, George Dement, signed copies of his autobiography entitled "I will, If you will, Saith the Lord."

The book features never before seen photos and untold stories from Dement's unique life.

Despite his sixteen years as Mayor, when asked about his life, Dement remains humble.

"I have been bleesed to live 90 years, and have four boys and one daughter. Married sixty two years to my childhood sweetheart, and all of that has meant a good life for me," says Dement.
