Several men are recovering tonight after a natural gas well accident in DeSoto Parish.
Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle says a crew from Exco was fracking a gas well when the accident happened.
Five people were injured; one taken by life air, three by ambulance, and the fifth by private vehicle to LSU Hospital. We're told the injuries are serious, but not life threatening.
The accident, which is under investigation, happened about 3 P.M. today, off Gravel Point Road in a wooded area near Highway 175.
