Concrete work continues today on Front Street in Natchitoches, which is being rebuilt.  

The contractor said the project, in which the bricks will be put back in place after the street is upgraded, should be completed by Nov. 15 -- before the start of the annual Christmas festival. 

An old storage tank was found underneath the street, contractors said. The tank dates to 1904 and went out of use during 1927.  It was filled with dirt and water when found.
