A memorial service is to be conducted this weekend for a Sebastian County sheriff's corporal who died in a traffic crash while on duty.

The service for Cpl. Terry Johnson is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Community Bible Church in Fort Smith.

Johnson was 48.

He died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Lavaca while he was on patrol.

Johnson is survived by his wife, Carla, his parents and siblings.
