An Airman from the 307th Maintenance Squadron died March 7, while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Tech. Sgt. Larry Bunn, 43, an Air Reserve Technician assigned to the 307 MXS, died from non-battle injuries. He had been deployed to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia since Sep 2012, and was due to return home this month.
Bunn was born in Texas but most recently lived in Bossier City, La. He had been in the Air Force since 1987. He started his Air Force career in 1987 with the 2nd Maintenance Munitions Squadron. In 1990 Bunn transitioned to the 917th Reserve Wing and most recently worked as a full time Aerospace Group Equipment Technician.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm, Friday, March 15, at the Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Drive, Bossier City, La.
Funeral Services will be at 11am, Saturday, March 16, at the Bellaire Baptist Church, 1210 Bellaire Blvd., Bossier City, La.
