Happening now in Red River Parish -- a small gas well rupture.

Trooper Matt Harris with State Police Troop G says the accident happened shortly before 7 o'clock tonight in the area near Highway 71 & LA Highway 514.

At this time there are no evacuations, but Trooper Harris isn't ruling out the possibility of evacuations in a one mile radius for safety reasons.

Motorists are already asked to stay clear of that area.

Nobody has been injured.
