The mayor of the east Arkansas city of Gould says a fire has destroyed his home.

   Gould Mayor Earnest Nash told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (http://bit.ly/Qjs92l ) that his 11-year-old son woke up to burning debris falling onto his bed about 1 a.m. Saturday.

   Nash says everyone escaped the home unscathed.

   Nash, who also works at the city's fire department, says he believes the fire began in the attic, but he says he'll call the fire marshal's office Monday for help determining the cause and origin of the blaze.
