The tiny town of Grambling is looking to restore honor to one it's own. The city's attorney has petitioned the NCAA to vacate portions of Coach Joe Paterno's victories amid the sex scandal under his leadership. City Attorney Pamela Breedlove wants the governing body for college football to remove several winning games from Penn State's record. Back in June, former Penn State Assistant Coach Jerry Sandusky was found guilty of nearly all of the allegations of child sex abuse leveled against him, all on Paterno's watch. Will Sutton, Public Relations Director for Grambling State where Eddie Robinson coached for almost half a century says the college appreciates the support from the community, but he says this is a matter the university can not address. Breedlove says she isn't seeking the death penalty for the university's football program but she wants something done."Two games can give it back to Coach Robinson, if that's enough for the NCAA, then I can live with that," said Breedlove. She says that's enough to bring the record of the most coaching wins in college football history back home to Grambling where it belongs.
