The local American Cancer Society painted the town purple today to kickoff the Relay for Life season. The Bossier City relay organizers were informing shoppers and taking donations in front of Dillard's in Pierre Bossier Mall. Participants received a decorative purple bow for $10 and were encouraged to sign for the relay. All proceeds from today's fundraiser and the relay help local cancer victims.
