Hollywood's version of forensic science, is definitely not reality TV.

Connie Brown, a senior scientist with the North Louisiana Crime Lab says she doesn't watch television shows about forensic science, she says they maker her giggle, "they'll get DNA results out of a blood alcohol machine or blood alcohol out of a DNA machine, but it's Hollywood."

Brown specializes in DNA Analysis and has testified n many cases of rape and murder.

She says sometimes what jurors see on programs like CBS's CSI gives unrealistic expectations about what she can and can't do.

She says it may raise unrealistic expectations about how fast we can do things, "one homicide can have enough forensic evidence testing that needed to take even two years to complete, not one hours.

Jimmy Barnhill, system's director at the crime lab wishes he had what his Hollywood counterparts do, "Most crime labs are not nearly so well equipped as the crime labs that are on CSI and other shows.
