Two Homer Junior High students were arrested Friday by Homer Police for alleged drug-related activity on school premises.
The two eighth graders were taken into custody at the educational facility by Homer Police Captain Donald Malray and a school official after the administrator of the Claiborne Parish School Board notified authorities.
According to Chief Mills, one of the males allegedly possessed eight bags of what is believed to be marijuana. The other child, who is also male, was allegedly found with another bag of suspected marijuana.
Because of their ages, the names of the suspects have not been released.
The children are awaiting transport to a juvenile detention center.
