SHREVEPORT, La. -

A Shreveport resident is hoping he won't be without hot water this Christmas.

Nathaniel Lewis has lived at the Kings Manor II apartment complex on David Raines Road for about three months. And for about 40 days his hot water has not worked.

"One Sunday afternoon I fixed dinner for my mother and sister, cooked a big meal, went to wash the dishes and didn't have hot water," Lewis said.

Lewis said he's filed plenty of complaints with the complex. But so far, nothing has been done.

"I've been without hot water since the 11th of last month," said Lewis. "Which meant Thanksgiving I didn't have hot water. And the way things are going now, it seems likeĀ  Christmas I won't have hot water."

We measured the temperature of the water in Lewis' shower on Thursday. The water is about 66 degrees. Compare that to the average adult shower water temperature of about 106 degrees.
