Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Shereveport is shattered by an untimely death of one of it's members. Michael Hubbard was the drummer for the church and today was the first day they held services without him. As the clouds hung high over the church inside the mood was joyous. The church was rejoicing over the life of their beloved member Michael Hubbard, Jr. Michael died Thurday night in a car crash near Ruston, heading back to Grambling for his graduation on Friday. His father, Michael, Sr. took his place at the gradaution. His absence was felt all over the church. Some of the church's members struggled to hold back the tears, while others had to be consoled in their seats. Michael's dad described the lost of his son as unbearable. "I don't understand how i'm getting through this cause it hurts so bad, i mean this is the worst pain that you could ever have," said Michael, Sr. On Wednesday the church will hold a prayer vigil in honor of Michael. They will also be holding a blood drive on that day to help replenish the supplies that were needed in the crash. Michael's funeral is set for next Saturday.
